Distance and isolation
Hilly terrain and poor transport physically cut communities off from educational hubs and career information centres.
“When awareness meets mentorship and access to resources, dreams become achievable goals.”
“Talent exists everywhere, even in the remotest villages.
What restricts young minds is the scarcity of resources, exposure, and opportunities.”
In the remote corridors of Dang, Gujarat, the gap between students’ ambition and their achievement isn’t a lack of intellect what they lack is a system that reaches them.
This is not an exception. For thousands of students across India’s most underserved geographies, it is the norm.
For many tribal students, the dream of pursuing higher education or clearing a competitive exam feels out of reach, not because they don’t have the potential, but because they have limited access to quality learning resources, structured study environments, competitive exam mentoring & support, and the guidance to navigate a complex educational landscape.
At ENLIFT Foundation, we believe that ambition should never be constrained by geography.
Hilly terrain and poor transport physically cut communities off from educational hubs and career information centres.
Students and their families have little or no information about competitive examinations such as government services, banking, defence, and other professional career pathways.
Career counselling & mentorship, and structured preparation resources are almost non-existent in these remote areas.

Community Libraries
ENLIFT Foundation combines direct mentorship with long-term infrastructure to create sustainable change - not just one-time events.
Structured awareness and preparation programmes that introduce students to competitive exam pathways and connect them to mentors who guide their journey.
Establishing community learning libraries — safe, inspiring spaces stocked with books and study materials so students can prepare without leaving their villages.
Career counselling pathway: awareness session, career path identified, mentorship and training, exam readiness. Libraries pathway: construct library, resources accessible, self-directed study, sustained preparation.
Through ARISE, we are building a resource-rich library and learning ecosystem designed to support tribal youth in competitive exam preparedness and higher education pathways. More than a physical space, ARISE is an environment that nurtures aspiration, builds confidence, and equips students with the tools to move beyond limitations.
This initiative is a step towards education equity and long-term, sustainable community transformation where access to knowledge becomes a catalyst for dignity and self-reliance.
Social impact measurement
We move beyond activity-based metrics to track Social Return on Investment (SROI)
Project ARISE strategic metrics, baseline status, and projected Social Return on Investment after intervention.
| Strategic metric | Baseline status | Projected SROI |
|---|---|---|
| Resource access | Zero coaching access | Access to high-caliber learning space |
| Human capital growth | Limited exposure to professional roles | 1:1 mentorship with industry experts |
The doors to the library are opening. Will you help us fill the shelves?
